Fivex Art Prize 2020 Awards & Exhibition
- What: Six outstanding finalist artworks selected from 520 entries across Australia for the inaugural Fivex Art Prize: Billboard Art Reimagined. Awards presented by the Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp, Monday 14 December 2020
- Who: First Prize of $30,000 shared by Catherine Clover (VIC) and Daniel Kotsimbos (VIC); $1,000 awarded to each of the other four finalists: Kent Morris (VIC), Magdalene Carmen (VIC), Deborah Kelly (NSW), Phi Do (VIC)
- Where: All artworks now showing on the iconic QMS Media digital billboards, cnr Flinders & Elizabeth streets, Melbourne
- When: Each individual work shown every day / night, interspersed within cycles of commercial advertising content until 31 January 2021
- Showcase: All six artworks shown collectively on rotation for one hour without advertising Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December 2020, 12pm to 1pm (other showcase sessions TBA)
